THE CART IS FINISHED. NOW IT GETS REAL. 🛒🔥
We have officially reached another BIG milestone in the Bristol to LA Project.
The cart is finished.
After weeks of building, cutting, painting, sealing, modifying, figuring out brakes, adding equipment and trying to make everything as practical as possible, the expedition cart is finally ready for the road.
And we didn't want to just finish it and hope for the best.
Zac loaded it down and took it out for its first real practice run.
10 miles.
Loaded.
Running.
And honestly?
The cart did great. Zac felt great. 💪
That was a huge relief.
There is a big difference between building something in the driveway and actually putting it through the kind of conditions it will face on this journey. Ten miles gave us our first real look at how everything feels when Zac is actually running with the cart loaded down.
And so far, we're really happy with it.
There will obviously be more testing and adjustments before October 17, but getting that first 10 mile run under our belt was a BIG step forward.
14 DAYS TO GO. 🇺🇸
That's right.
Two weeks.
On October 17, Zac will leave Bristol, Tennessee and begin his journey to Los Angeles.
We are still working on putting something together for the morning Zac leaves so that people can come downtown, see him off and be part of the beginning of this crazy journey.
We don't have all the details figured out yet, but we're working on it and we'll share everything as soon as we know more.
And there is still a LOT happening between now and October 17.
More testing.
More training.
More preparation.
More gear.
More content.
And probably a few more things that we haven't even thought of yet. 😂
We will keep updating everyone as we get closer and as Zac continues putting miles on the cart.
This started as an idea that sounded completely unreasonable.
Now the cart is finished, Zac has already run 10 miles with it loaded, and October 17 is only 14 days away.
It's getting real.
