Zac is currently facing a pending criminal charge in Sullivan County, Tennessee arising from the failure of a construction business he previously operated.

Zac maintains his innocence and denies stealing or intentionally misappropriating anyone’s money. He has not admitted guilt, and he intends to defend himself through the legal process.

​

The matter stems from a customer deposit associated with a construction contract that the business was ultimately unable to return after experiencing significant financial difficulties and ceasing operations. Zac’s position is that this was a business failure and an unresolved contractual obligation, not theft.

Because the matter is pending, Zac will allow the legal process to determine the outcome and will not try the case publicly.

The Bristol to LA Project is not an attempt to avoid or distract from that process. It is about moving forward while facing a difficult chapter in his life, taking responsibility for rebuilding his future, and doing something hard enough to remind himself and his family that a difficult chapter does not have to define the rest of their story.
